Welcome to another update from my 365 meditation journey, a commitment to meditate 365 days straight. Here is today’s breakdown:
Minutes of Time Meditation
Meditation: MIDL 15 Minutes of Mindfulness 18/20: Softening Pleasantness
Teacher: Stephen Proctor
- 1st thing, inside, Seiza (kneeling) posture
- Felt amazing during and after this meditation. Partly because I created a space within to allow this to happen, and partly do to the guidance.
- I chose a pleasant memory from my past, since it is the holiday season I chose Christmas time when I was a kid. I let the feelings of that memory arise. instead of sitting with the memory itself, I transcended the memory and feeling into one and sat with the feeling the rest of the way.
