Caregiving From The Inside-Out

Tips And Advice For Caregivers, From A Cancer Caregiver

I have been a caregiver for my wife with chronic Leukemia for 9 years. Over this time I have faced a real risk of losing her more than once, thankfully she is the strongest person I know with a passion and a zest for life like nobody I know. Allie and I both agree that we have been blessed with this experience as neither one of us would be who we are today without it, and WE LOVE WHO WE ARE!

I have done a lot of deep inner work with myself in order to transform my relationship with myself, my relationship with cancer, and most importantly my relationship with Allie over this time.

I am using this section of my blog to be vulnerable and share with you how my personal experiences as a cancer caregiver have led to many transformational life lessons. Much of what I talk about here are tips, advice, and understandings I wish someone had taught me at the beginning of my journey with Allie. I wish to be that person for many, many others.

If you know someone in a similar circumstance as me please share this page. I want to touch as many lives as possible.
