Life Lessons From A Cancer Caregiver

A Perfectly Imperfect Blend Of  Love, Experience And Coaching

I have been a caregiver for my wife, who has chronic Leukemia, for 9 years. Over this time I have faced a real risk of losing her more than once, thankfully she is the strongest person I know with a passion and a zest for life like nobody I’ve ever met.

Allie and I both agree that we have been blessed with this experience as neither one of us would be who we are today without it. We’ve grown to love who we are as individuals and as a couple despite circumstances.

I have done a lot of deep inner work with myself in order to transform my relationship with myself, my relationship with cancer, and most importantly my relationship with Allie over this time.

I am using this section of my blog to be vulnerable and share with you how my personal experiences as a cancer caregiver have led to many transformational life lessons. Much of what I talk about here are tips, advice, and understandings I wish someone had taught me at the beginning of my journey with Allie. I wish to be that person for many, many others.

If you know someone in a similar circumstance as me please share this page. I want to touch as many lives as possible.
