MORNING

EVENING

Minutes of Mindfulness

Meditation: Mindfulness Meditation 1/52: Grounding Your Attention

Teacher: Stephen Proctor

Notes:

  • Seated with back support
  • This session presented a first time challenge for me, Allie and I had an argument prior to this meditation
  • At first, my mind was working overdrive, as my adrenaline was still pumping
  • I paid close attention to my thoughts, staying very aware of keeping distance from them
  • I could feel my heart, and body, pulsing from an increase in blood pressure
  • I was able to find peace towards the end, with all pulsing subsiding
  • My mind was about 80% back to normal, from a starting point of being about 40% of the way there
  • SUCCESS!
