Welcome to another update from my 365 meditation journey, a commitment to meditate 365 days straight. Here is today’s breakdown:

MORNING

Minutes of Gratitude

Meditation: Gratitude Meditation

Teacher: Jayadevi

Notes:

  • Seated with back support, after 1st 2 clients
  • 1st time trying this meditation –
  • Generic, didn’t resonate with me, won’t do this one again

EVENING

Minutes of Boost Self Love and Inner Strength

Meditation: Meditation to boost self love and inner strength

Teacher: Power Thoughts Meditation Club

Notes:

  • Lying down
  • 1st time trying this meditation
  • This was much different from all the meditations I have listened to thus far, it was an affirmation based meditation using “I AM…” or “YOU ARE…”
  • If you put your mind in the right place, it will sound as if an unknown source is confirming all of these great qualities of yourself
  • This would be great if I was down in the dumps about myself, or didn’t believe in myself, but I do
  • Overall, a good pick me up for a bad day, it doesn’t resonate with me for a common practice though
