PROGRAM & REGISTRATION OPTIONS

There are three options for you to choose from when registering:

Deep Coaching Intensive (DCI)

The Deep Coaching Intensive encompasses Foundation and Mastery components. Once you complete the DCI you receive certification as a Deep Transformational Coach.

Note: Certification as a Deep Coach from the Center for Transformational Coaching is not the same as receiving a coaching credential from the International Coach Federation, which is a separate application process.

DCI Portfolio Package

For those who desire to attain an ICF coach credential, the DCI Portfolio Package and the DCI Portfolio Mentored Package provide all the coach training hours needed to meet ICF requirements for the ACC application. These packages combine Life Coaching Basics with the

Deep Coaching Intensive for a comprehensive transformational coach training program.

Note 1: To apply for an ICF credential, you need to fulfill a number of requirements. The DCI Portfolio Package fulfills your coach training requirement when you apply via ICF’s ACC Portfolio Path. Visit ICF’s website for details on application requirements for that path.

Note 2: It is not possible to ‘audit’ the DCI Portfolio Package, as ICF requires that for application purposes, 80% of the training must be synchronous learning (SL).

DCI Portfolio Mentoring Package

Another requirement for ICF’s ACC credential application is 10 hours of Mentor Coaching. We offer this service with a qualified Mentor Coach when you register for the DCI Portfolio Mentoring Package. Typically, these hours are used following completion of the DCI as you continue to develop your coaching skills and knowledge in preparation for your ACC credential application.

DEEP COACHING INTENSIVE COURSE STRUCTURE

There are two components to the Deep Coaching Intensive (21 weeks; 42 SL learning hours):

1: Foundation (12 weeks)

The first part of the DCI imparts all concepts and knowledge related to the Deep Coaching approach and integrates it with ICF competencies. Foundation also offers a peer coaching program to encourage practice of the Deep Coaching approach from the beginning of the course.

2: Mastery (9 weeks)

The second part is designed to deepen student’s understanding of Deep Coaching through direct experience. Participants observe and discuss a series of Deep Coaching sessions led by the learning leader which expand their understanding of how the approach works across a range of personalities, situations, and issues. Participants also engage in a number of practice sessions. This is akin to supervised mentor coaching, and through feedback from the learning leader, participants receive the direction and support needed to master Deep Coaching.

To successfully complete Mastery, participants submit two audio recordings to the learning leader for assessment and feedback. These recordings will demonstrate the participant’s capacity and progress with the DC approach. Upon successful completion of all DCI requirements, participants receive certification as a Deep Transformational Coach.

MAIN LEARNING OBJECTIVES

The DCI is designed to create three types of knowledge:

Conceptual knowledge: The key concepts here are understanding what transformational coaching is (as an approach), understanding the dynamics of human transformation, and how to create the conditions within a coaching space which optimize transformative change and enable deep shifts in awareness.

Practical knowledge: Transformative models and Deep Coaching practices are introduced which help participants move beyond transactional coaching methods, dive deeper into a person’s psyche and ‘inner operating system’, and enhance the power of their personal presence.

Self-knowledge: The most important dimension of all great transformational coaches, knowing — Who am I? What does my life and work stand for?

DCI PORTFOLIO PACKAGE STRUCTURE

For those who wish to attain their ICF ACC credential, the DCI Portfolio Package has been designed to meet all ICF requirements for the ACC Portfolio Path application by combining the Deep Coaching Intensive program with the Life Coaching Basics course.

Life Coaching Basics teaches you core coaching competencies and frameworks, including the ICF definition of coaching and Code of Ethics, and prepares you to be a knowledgeable coach who understands the profession’s unique approach to self-development. The DCI then builds on that foundational knowledge through advanced coaching practices.

Life Coaching Basics in the DCI Portfolio Package is a blend of self-study and support integration calls with your course instructor (both 1-1 and group calls). Visit our website for details.

Begin today. The earlier you get started with Life Coaching Basics, however, the more time you have to study and integrate the foundational knowledge before the DCI begins. Enrollment is ongoing, so you can begin at any time.

PART 2 – MASTERY

WEEKS 13-16: DEEP COACHING SESSION OBSERVATION

Each week for the four Session Observation classes, one participant will be coached by the learning leader. These live sessions compliment a series of four audio Deep Coaching sessions which are part of the weekly assignments.
- The purpose of observing these sessions is to provide participants the experience of how Deep Coaching works across a range of situations, issues, and personalities.

During these four weeks, the Peer Coaching program continues. Participants are required to coach at least once per week and make themselves available to receive coaching once per week. Participants are encouraged to continue applying the DC practices and related ICF competencies into their practice sessions to deepen their capacity with the approach.
- Each of the four classes will also introduce an exercise that is related to a key aspect of Deep Coaching. These experiential activities continue to expand awareness of DC beyond the theoretical and into the practical and pragmatic.

WEEK 17-20: DEEP COACHING PRACTICE SESSIONS

Each week for the four Practice Session classes, at least one participant will coach another participant.
- During these four weeks, Peer Coaching continues. Participants are required to coach at least once per week and make themselves available to receive coaching once per week. Participants continue applying the Deep Coaching practices and related ICF competencies into their practice sessions to deepen their capacity with the coaching approach.
- All sessions are observed by the learning leader, who provides support/guidance as needed during the sessions and feedback upon completion. Feedback covers the demonstration of the 9 Deep Coaching practices as well as ICF Coaching Competencies.
- These practice sessions prepare participants for submission of two session recordings required for course completion and certification.

WEEK 21: WRAPPING UP

A final class to wrap up the Deep Coaching Intensive—a time to reflect on and celebrate our learning journey.

TRANSFORMATION ACADEMY REVIEW (MY EXPERIENCE)

I’ve taken all 4 courses that make up the Master Transformation Life Coach Certification. I’ll review them each one by one.

All in all, I think Joeel and Natalie do a fantastic job at making their videos engaging. Their teaching style is better than most, in my opinion, and this creates a much more palpable learning experience.

TRANSFORMATION LIFE COACH

This was hands down my favorite course of the 4 courses. I may be a little biased because transformational coaching is what I enjoy coaching on and learning about most.

Transformation is about who we are and who we want to be, not what we want to do. I was a little skeptical at first that JOeel and Natalie may get this wrong but they nailed it. This certification is all about who we want to be and not what we want to do.

Although much of the information in this certification was a review for me, it was a great reminder. Joeel and Natalie have a way of simplifying complex subjects and this allowed some of the information to sink a little further for me.

I resonate with the Hero’s Journey that they teach as I’m familiar with it. I’m glad it’s part of the course. I believe the Hero’s Journey is a great metaphor for the process we endeavor on our own journey of personal transformation.

There is a lot of teaching on beliefs; how we form them, how they affect us, how to release them, how to change them, and how to instill them.

FORGIVENESS LIFE COACH CERTIFICATION

I’m glad to see this certification is part of the program as I think understanding forgiveness is a huge part of our transformational journey.

Forgiveness isn’t new to me by any means. I’ve had to let go of my fair share of resentments and to do that I had to understand what that meant.

Forgiveness is one of the most challenging processes one will ever have to go through, however, the rewards are liberating.

What I liked: The information was presented well, in an easy-to-understand manner for such a deep subject.

What I didn’t like: The co-presenter, Sheri Rosenthal, seemed somewhat inauthentic to me. I feel she lacked compassion and emotional validation for the pain others may feel. But hey, that could just be me.

LIFE STORY COACH CERTIFICATION

I found certification a little redundant after already completing the Transformation Life Coach Certification.

The gist of the certification is this—we create a story around our life and who we are based on our upbringing and the coinciding beliefs that accompany it.

The redundancy is surrounding the beliefs. Much of the information presented about beliefs is a rehash of the Transformation Life Coach Certification.

I do think it’s important to understand that a client’s story is just that, a story. Their story is not absolute truth, it’s their way of seeing their life, themselves, and the world they live within.

It’s extremely important that, as coaches, we don’t get caught up in the story we’re being told. Instead, we see it with curiosity, we question it.

PURPOSE QUEST WORKSHOP FACILITATOR CERTIFICATION

I’m not going to be, this certification didn’t interest me much. I didn’t resonate with it as I have no desire to host workshops on people’s life purposes.

For this reason, I don’t remember much about this course as I breezed through it without being highly engaged.

My Amazing Journey With Fastcomet

After using Fastcomet’s Cloud VPS for 1 year, I made the tough decision to migrate to Cloudways. I actually felt terrible about leaving them, I’ll get into why in a moment, but first a little backstory on my 3 year journey with Fastcomet.

On April 30, 2019 I migrated from Siteground to Fastcomet. I realized speed was playing a more important role in SEO and Siteground just wasn’t cutting it anymore. They had an excellent reputation but it seems they’ve been going downhill now for a while.

Some of my comparison review posts are north of 10,000 words and include numerous images and videos. These posts were particularly slow and required more optimized and powerful servers.

Thus, after some extensive research I decided to go with Fastcomet. I’m so happy I did.

Why I Switched From Fastcomet to Cloudways

It all started when I was trying to access my website and kept running into this:

I had recently switched off my Premium DNS at Namecheap out of curiosity to see if it had any impact of my site speed. (it didn’t by the way)

I thought maybe it was just taking longer than normal to re-propagate my DNS. It says it can take up to 48 hours to do so, although it’s only taken 1-2 hours in all my experiences.

Despite that, I waited 36 hours before I lost my patience as I’m losing $150-$200/day when my website is down.

This is when I reached out to Fastcomet support to see if they could give me any insight.

Here’s our dialogue:

I switched my nameservers from Namecheaps Premium DNS back to my Fastcomet DNS and now my website robkish.life can’t connect to DNS. I made the switch yesterday and still won’t connect

This has caused the server to be unable to resolve with the proper DNS and subsequently, the IP address assigned to the nameservers and in turn led to the issue experienced.
We have confirmed the same with our Registrar that this has already been resolved, however, a connectivity issue with the DNS can cause a short propagation period during which your sites and server might still be inaccessible and unable to resolve.

I would like to start off by saying that we deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding. Having said this, I also want to shed some more light on the situation and what caused this issue in the first place.
As explained by my colleague, there was an issue with the configuration of the default nameservers used for your private server. This issue occurred at the registrar level and while it only lasted 3 minutes, it triggered a propagation period during which the incorrect configuration could still have been in use for some users, internet service providers, or networks.
Propagation periods can last from a few hours for up to 72 hours because DNS information is cached on many levels like in local cache on a computer, DNS cache stored by an internet service provider, routing services, and others. This means that some users have not been affected by this issue at all, while it lasted for minutes or even hours for others.
Unfortunately, this depends entirely on factors outside of our control, the most important of which is the previously mentioned DNS cached and the way and duration different networks store it.

The issue was resolved as of yesterday but my server is down again today.
This is getting a little frustrating as my businesses loses $100 per 12 hours it’s down.
I’ve been with you guys for a few years now and haven’t contemplated once switching hosting…until now.

I connected to Cloudlfare, however, Cloudflare won’t pickup my DNS records like it normally would. This is likely because it can’t access my DNS. I can’t get into my Cpanel to manually add the records.

DNS is down again
Since you said it was working again, I decided to change my nameservers back to Fastcomet. I had them connected to Cloudflare prior to that as a workaround.
The only reason it appears my site was working was because it was connect to Cloudflare.

I have to give kudos to Fastcomet‘s support team. They were prompt, professional and outright amazing.

One major issue I kept getting with Fastcomet that I’ve yet to encounter with Cloudways is a slow server response time.

I kept getting flagged with errors in my Google console for poor page experience and poor core web vitals.

Why? Because this inconsistency in server response time was affecting my LCP (largest contentful paint) time and this affected the user experience.

My search rankings would then take a dive and then take me 1-2 months to recover, ultimately decreasing my revenue.

The question you’re probably now wondering is: Would I trade server response time consistency for a slightly slower load time? YES! So long as the load time is still within Google’s parameters

What Can I Compare The Tranya T10 Pro Wireless Earbuds To?

My previous wireless earbuds were the SoundPEATS Trueshift 2. I dropped the case and wouldn’t charge on one side thereafter. Otherwise, they worked flawlessly.

Why didn’t I get another pair of SoundPEATS?

Although the sound was high quality and crystal clear, especially when listening to podcasts and videos, I felt like they lacked the punch I was looking for when listening to music.

As I contemplated what was missing in order to give it that punch, I came to the conclusion it was lacking a punchy bass.

The reviews on Amazon reinforced this and so I decided to look for a potential alternative within a similar price range.

Is Tranya T10 Pro better Than SoundPEATS TrueShift 2?

This depends what you’re using them for. If you want great clarity for listenining to podcasts and taking calls, I’d day SoundsPEATS are superior.

Where the Tranya T10 Pro shines over the SoundPEATS TrueShift 2 is when listening to your favourite tunes.

The obvious difference is the bass. Tranya calls these earbuds “bass boosted” for a reason and they live up to the claim.

Unlike other headphones and earbuds that deliver a deep but fuzzy bass, these Tranya T10 Pros deliver a crystal clear, broad deep (did I say deep?) bass.

Tranya delivers the punch that I felt was missing with the SoundPEATS.

How do they perform while working out?

I got the Tranya T10 Pro for the sole purpose of using them while I workout. The main concern people have when choosing a wireless earbud to workout with is ‘will it stay snug in my ear?’.

The answer is YES. I do heavy Olympic lifting and generate a lot of force and speed while doing things like power cleans.

I don’t find myself fixing them in my ear at all, even after I start sweating and my skin gets slippery.

These earbuds don’t even budge.

How is the Noise Cancellation effect?

In all fairness, the Tranya T10 Pro isn’t advertised as noise cancelling. I still think an important point to touch on since you may be wondering.

As an example, without anything playing on my earbuds, when I wore them in my backyard I could hear cars go by on the road behind my house.

Once I play music I can’t hear the cars, or anything else in the background.

When I’m at the gym and the music is on, I can hear the weights on the barbell hitting the ground on my deadlifts and cleans.

I cannot hear people talking to me when music is playing.

Are Tranya earbuds Good Quality? Size, Make and Feel

The earbud is a little bulky compared to the SoundPEATS I had previously. They protrude out of the ear a little more than other earbuds I find.

This doesn’t bother me per say, but it may be an important point for you.

The earbuds feel mediocre in quality.

The case feels pretty cheaply made, inside and out.

This is where you can definitely tell the difference between a premium brand and Tranya.

I’m all about function over feel. I’d rather my ear buds perform beyond their price range than look and feel beyond their price range.

Tranya seems to have put their money into function over feel as they perform above their price range in my opinion.

If you want premium function and feel, you’ll likely need to look at $100+.

Are Tranya T10 Pros waterproof?

The Tranya T10 Pro is rated IPX7. Meaning they are water and sweat proof…to an extent.

They can easily weather a little rain on your walk or jog and lots of sweat during your most grueling workouts.

What does it mean for earbuds to be IPX7 waterproof?

IPX7 is a class of waterproof rating that specifies that earbuds can be submerged in water up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

WEEKS 13-16: DEEP COACHING SESSION OBSERVATION

Each week for the four Session Observation classes, one participant will be coached by the learning leader. These live sessions compliment a series of four audio Deep Coaching sessions which are part of the weekly assignments.
- The purpose of observing these sessions is to provide participants the experience of how Deep Coaching works across a range of situations, issues, and personalities.

During these four weeks, the Peer Coaching program continues. Participants are required to coach at least once per week and make themselves available to receive coaching once per week. Participants are encouraged to continue applying the DC practices and related ICF competencies into their practice sessions to deepen their capacity with the approach.
- Each of the four classes will also introduce an exercise that is related to a key aspect of Deep Coaching. These experiential activities continue to expand awareness of DC beyond the theoretical and into the practical and pragmatic.

WEEK 17-20: DEEP COACHING PRACTICE SESSIONS

Each week for the four Practice Session classes, at least one participant will coach another participant.
- During these four weeks, Peer Coaching continues. Participants are required to coach at least once per week and make themselves available to receive coaching once per week. Participants continue applying the Deep Coaching practices and related ICF competencies into their practice sessions to deepen their capacity with the coaching approach.
- All sessions are observed by the learning leader, who provides support/guidance as needed during the sessions and feedback upon completion. Feedback covers the demonstration of the 9 Deep Coaching practices as well as ICF Coaching Competencies.
- These practice sessions prepare participants for submission of two session recordings required for course completion and certification.

WEEK 21: WRAPPING UP

There are no restrictions or regulations in place for the Aromatherapy profession. Anyone can become an aromatherapist by calling themselves such.

This means that anyone who chooses to become an aromatherapist can do so without the need to be certified. However, most practicing aromatherapists are certified. This is highly recommended when working with clients and other practitioners to ensure their safety.

The aromatherapy profession isn’t alone as this is also the case for other professions such as Herbalists, Nutritionists, Personal Trainers, Life Coaches, Health Coaches—and any other type of coach for that matter.

A Better Question Might Be—How Do I Become an Aromatherapist That Can Transform Lives?

Since anyone, aged 2 yrs+ can call themselves an aromatherapist, how to become one probably isn’t the best question to be asking.

Sure, anyone can become an aromatherapist—but not everyone can use the intricacies and science behind aromatherapy in a safe and highly effective manner with other people.

This takes personal dedication to the craft of aromatherapy.

There are many different types of aromatherapists. However, they all work to make people feel better through their work. They can help people with things like stress, anxiety, depression, and more. For example, they may work on an emotional level, or they may work on a physical level by healing the body through the use of essential oils. They may also do both.

This my friend, cannot be done through a course from Udemy. You need a well-structured course that covers all the fine details as there is an abundance to learn. We’re talking 100’s of hours of studying and application to truly understand how to help others through herbalism.

One-on-one support and case studies with feedback are essential to learning aromatherapy.

On to the informal regulations of Aromatherapy.

National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA)

There is a regulating body called the NAHA (National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy) attempting to regulate the aromatherapy industry. However, their accreditation is not recognized by any country as a legitimate licensing body.

Because of this, the aromatherapy industry remains unregulated. It’s not mandatory anywhere in the world to be an accredited or certified aromatherapist.

NAHA Standards

Level 1: NAHA Certified Level 1 Aromatherapist®

(Minimum 50 Hours* Curriculum)

Introduction to the history of Aromatherapy
Profiles of minimum 20 essential oils
Minimum of 5 case studies
Quality of essential oils
Production and methods of extraction (distillation, cold pressing/expression, enfleurage, absolute, CO2 extraction)
Basic physiological effects of essential oils: methods of absorption, overview of olfaction and the limbic system, the skin, and the immune system
How essential oils interact on physical and emotional levels
Basic essential oil chemistry with contraindications of certain essential oils
How to create/design an effective blend
Diluents such as vegetable oils and other carrier bases
Methods of application (inhalation, diffusion, topical, optional: internal)
Safety issues (including dermal, respiratory, internal)
Legal, ethical, privacy issues (include a copy of the NAHA Code of Ethics)

Is Accreditation Recommended?

There is an ongoing debate about this. In the end, there are valid points to argue on both sides.

Getting certified through a NAHA accredited Aromatherapist program does generally indicate the certification quality meets a certain standard.

Would I recommend calling yourself an Aromatherapist without any high-quality training or practice? Absolutely not.
