Welcome to another update from my 365 meditation journey, a commitment to meditate 365 days straight. Here is today’s breakdown:
Morning
Minutes of Mindfulness
Meditation: Surrender to the silence within
Teacher: DAVIDJI
Notes:
- 1st thing, inside, Seiza (kneeling) posture
- 1st time trying this meditation and this teacher
- I loved the structure of the meditation; 1/3 of the meditation was a high-quality talk on the topic of the meditation, next 2/3 was complete silence to meditate with a mantra provided to repeat to myself, and a short wrap-up at the end.
- This structure is nearly identical to the meditation series I did by Deepak Chopra and Oprah
- The talk by DavidJi was just as high quality as the talks they gave
- Awesome guided meditation
